The Truth About Tithing
As a church member you are required to pay 10% of your gross income. However, as a member of The Rock Men’s Church we ask that you only share $20 monthly or $200 annually to help pay for our meeting space.
Brothers, you were created to fulfill a GOD ordained purpose. The money you tithe is cash that GOD gave you to finance your purpose. You honor GOD with your finances by fulfilling HIS vision for your life NOT by tithing to help fulfill your pastor's vision for his ministry.
Will a man rob GOD?
YES! Preachers rob GOD constantly through tithes and offerings. When a man demands that you pay him tithes and offerings or GOD will curse you, he not only steals your money but he also robs GOD of the glory HE will get once YOU fulfill your purpose.
Matthew 6:24 wouldn't say that you cannot serve GOD and mammon if GOD then required you to tithe mammon. GOD doesn’t want your money. In Psalm 50:12 & 14 GOD said: “If I were hungry, I would not tell you: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof.”
“Offer unto GOD thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High.”
The only thing GOD wants from us today is to give thanks for what HE will do and to simply do what WE vowed or promised that we would do.
